Asylum Seeker literacy and success

On 17 May 2016 Peter Dutton stated that asylum seekers are illiterate and would take local jobs.

I think we should find examples in two directions 

a number of asylum seekers come from a rural background and would be able to do jobs for which locals are unwilling to undertake e.g. fruit picking (note the problems raised by taxing backpackers and the effect on harvesting fruit etc).

There are a number of examples of successful integration of refugees in rural communities,






There are examples of asylum seekers who were not illiterate
